Dakota Spirit Returns and Exchanges Policy

Thank you for shopping with us! We want you to love your purchase, and we’re here to help if something isn’t quite right. Please review our full policy below before initiating a return or exchange.

General Policy

  • All preorders are final sale. Once a preorder is placed, it cannot be canceled, returned, or exchanged.

  • Eligible garments may be returned within 14 days (2 weeks) from the date the item was received.

  • Returns must meet the conditions outlined below to qualify for a refund or exchange.

Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition

  • All original tags and packaging must be intact

  • Items must be free of stains, odors, pet hair, or damage

  • The return must be initiated within 14 days of receiving the item

Items that do not meet these requirements may be refused.

Items That Cannot Be Returned or Exchanged

The following items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Preorders

  • Customized Garments/Products (with the exception of vendor errors)

  • Gift cards

  • Items marked “final sale” at the time of purchase
    (Remove or edit if not applicable)

Exchanges

Exchanges are available for eligible garments if inventory allows.

  • Exchanges must follow the same 14-day window

  • If the requested size or item is unavailable, a refund may be issued instead

Refunds

Once your return is approved:

  • Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment

  • Please allow standard payment processing time, depending on your bank or provider

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you believe you received a defective or incorrect item, please contact us within 7 days so we can make it right.

Please provide:

  • Your name

  • Details about the issue

  • A photo, if applicable

How to Start a Return or Exchange

To begin a return or exchange:

  1. Email info@dakotaspirit.com

  2. Include your name, item name, and reason for return

  3. We will provide instructions on when and where to bring your item

All returns and exchanges must be completed in person.
No shipping or mail-in returns are accepted.

Policy Changes

Dakota Spirit reserves the right to update or modify this policy at any time. Policy updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
